A book I haven't read

Since I can't find time to blog about books I have read, logically I should blog about books I haven't read.

Prayers for the Assassin, as described in this CNN story, sounds like a potentially interesting what-if story. Apparently taking a cue from Max Barry, the author has set up not only a website to support sales & discussion of the book, but a "news channel" for stories and an upcoming "election" set in his version of the year 2040, in which the former United States is split between Islamic and Christian theocracies.

Oh, and speaking of Max Barry, it looks like he snuck out another book while I wasn't looking. Anybody read it?
