Wall Street (1985). A well-made morality tale about the moral seduction of a young man, complete with archetypical mentor figures that would make Joseph Campbell and George Lucas scratch their heads and say "that character seems familiar...."
It seems that I am only now catching up with the pop culture of the 1980s, which I studiously avoided when it was new.

The finest cinematic work of the decade was, of course, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure--followed closely by Pee Wee's Big Adventure.
Well, I made Fiend watch "Dazed and Confused" last night. Does that count?
Believe it or not, I've somehow managed to avoid ever sitting down and watching any of the movies you mentioned all the way through, although I've probably seen most of each one in bits and pieces on television.
Thumbs up for Their Dudenesses, but I have no particular desire to ever see Pee Wee's Big Adventure.
Up next via Netflix: Boiler Room. Apparently I went and requested a whole slew of moves about corrupt financial shenanigans for some reason.
