"John Kerry is a douchebag but I'm voting for him anyway."

Couldn't agree more.

*Sigh.* At this point, the first priority is to stop the bleeding. Both literally and metaphorically.

I've often wondered whether it is more important to vote for the candidate who most closely matches one's values or for the least offensive candidate who has a chance of winning. Since no single vote will make a difference, it seems to me that you have to consider whether Kerry has a shot of winning if all the libertarians vote for him--or perhaps, given the electoral college system, I should say "if all the libertarians in Michigan vote for him."

You're screwed either way you vote. Congratulations, the electoral college counts you in favor of Bush.

What if June 30 is successful? Does that remove your motivation for voting Kerry?

The Bush administration's policies on the domestic front have been as disturbing as their adventures overseas.
